The final study session of the above Joint Research Project with the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations took place in Tokyo. Based on the fiscal 2000 research results, research was conducted on the shape of Japan-China relations and the way the two countries should foster exchange with each other under the new environment conditions of the post-Jiang Zemin era.
