An interim study session was held in the Conference Room of The China Institute of Contemporary International Relations in Beijing as part of the joint research with this Institute. The diffusion of the Internet has ushered in a variety of social and political activities using computer networks, such as Cyber-terrorism, virus and Cyber activism. This fiscal year's project has focused on joint research devoted to the theme of how these dangers can be minimized within the international community and how safety can be enhanced for our information society.
