Fiscal 2010 Japan-China Joint Research Project: Stability and Peace of Mind in Internet Society” – Final Study Session
The final study session of this year’s Japan-China Joint Research Project was held in the main boardroom of the IISE in Tokyo. The theme of the study was “Stability and Peace of Mind in Internet Society”. The members of the research project presented the reports of their respective studies.
Amidst the world’s attention to security and peace of mind on the Internet incited by Wikileaks and information leaks, which had a considerable impact on real society in both Japan and China, the participants engaged in a very lively exchange of opinions. At the end, they concurred that both Japan and China needed to examine actions and measures which are necessary to combat crises in the international internet community as well as the cyber society.
