The International Symposium on "Information Accessibility in the Asia Pacific Region," an event cosponsored by the Foundation for C&C Promotion and the Center for Global Communications (GLOCOM), was held in the Sky Studio at Roppongi Hills on January 22, 2004. Our Institute also took part in a supporting role to provide the secretariat services and our Research Analyst Kazuko Yuma was on hand as a panelist. It speaks for the increasing interest in information accessibility in recent years that the conference hall with a seating capacity of 100 persons was fully occupied and saw a very active exchange of opinions.
