Crisis Management Seminar 2005
"Crisis Management in the Information
Age"
As part of the FY 2005 joint Sino-Japanese research project carried out with
the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations, a crisis management
seminar entitled ‘Crisis Management in the Information Age’ was held
in three cities in China. The October 17 seminar was held at the China Institute
of Contemporary International Relations in Beijing, the October 19 seminar at
the Golden Emperor Hotel in Tianjin, and the October 21 seminar at the Shangri-La
Hotel in Qingdao. Each seminar featured frank exchanges of views, and was attended
by members of each city’s Olympic Committee and government officials in
charge of crisis management.
