The IISE special study session entitled ‘Energy and Environmental Issues in China’ was held at Kazan Kaikan. Mr. Yang Mingjie, Assistant to the President, CICIR (China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations) attended the session as the guest of honor, and provided us with valuable insights into the Chinese strategies for energy and environment as well as international relationships. The participants had a great deal of questions to Mr. Yang. The session allowed an exchange of frank opinions.
