The seminar and conference sponsored by East China Normal University Crisis Management Center and entitled ‘Crisis Management in a Megalopolis’ was held on August 8, 2007 in the main conference room of Hotel General in Shanghai. Our Chief Fellow Izumi Harada attended the seminar to present a keynote lecture.

The conference was attended by Mr. Fan Xiping, Vice President of Shanghai Municipal Government and other municipal government officials as well as officials of the Expo 2010 and academics.
