Symposium “Diversity of Information Society and Organizational Adaptation”
A symposium entitled “Diversity of Information Society and Organizational Adaptation” was held on two dates. Cosponsored by the Next-Generation Information Society Subcommittee of the InfoSocionomics Society and IISE. Several participants attended the symposium online and joined the discussion from outside the venue through Upstream and Twitter.
In conjunction with the symposium, the Next-Generation Information Society Subcommittee had called for the submission of short papers on the “diversity in information society and organizational adaptation”. The competition was open to those outside the Subcommittee. Several papers which passed referee process were presented at the symposium.
