Profile

Kanako Sakimura is a Thought Leadership Professional at the Institute for International Socio-Economic Studies (IISE) in Tokyo, Japan. She promotes thought leadership for better implementation of technology in society by expanding engagement and action through dialogue with diverse stakeholders. Her areas of expertise are digital technologies for sustainability and social impact. Prior to joining IISE, she led the social impact team at one of Japan's leading IT companies. She holds a Master of Public Policy from the Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Program at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS).
